Relapse is recruiting talented and dedicated individuals! However we cannot guarantee raid spots to recruits. Raid spots initially go to our members of "raider" rank and to classes that are required for the selected raid. If you're interested in joining Relapse, please submit an application today.

Raiding Requirements
Caster ranged dps: 2.5k DPS at the very min. must be hit capped
Melee dps 2.5k DPS at the very min. must be hit capped
Healers 2.5k HPS at the very min.
Tanks 30k HP unbuffed be def capped with a reasonable amount of dodge parry block *depending on class*

If you fall below these requirements do not be surprised if you are asked to sit out.

As well raid attendance will be taken into account. Must be able to commit to 3/4 raids a week. Yes we realize real life happens however if there is a trend in your absence with no prior notification you will be replaced.

ALL CURRENT MEMBERS IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY MEET THESE STANDARDS YOU HAVE A WEEK TO GET TO THIS LEVEL

All Relapse Guild Members:
LOOT Info

At Relapse, we've tried numerous loot systems. All have their drawbacks and the best fit for this guild has been modified Loot Council.

When running a full or mostly full guild 25 man raid, loot is posted and the master looter will ask for you to whisper them if you are interested in a specific piece.

When you want to be considered for an item, whisper the master looter with your current item in that slot (for trinkets/rings, whisper with both).

What then happens is a small group of the officers will try to determine a single person that should receive that item. If the council cannot reduce to a single person, we will ask multiple people to roll. This has reduced the amount of time to determine who gets an item and speeds up the raid.

How do the officers determine who gets an item / who gets to roll? This is very subjective and depends on several factors:

Length of time with guild
Attendance
Class knowledge
Attitude
Level of effort put into current gear (e.g. enchanted, blues vs. heroic's purples)
Preparedness for raids (flasks/food/shards/reagents)
Size of the upgrade over that raider's current items
On tier loot - set bonus eligibility
Item's benefit to that raider's class
Guild's need (many healer items are also caster dps items, so if we're low on dps, a caster might get what normally would be a healer item)

Its not an exact science but we often have 5 people wanting an item, and only one to loot. Officers interested in loot are subject to the same consideration as raiders. There is no "bonus" for officers - they are considered the same way raiders are on the same measures.

Loot consideration is as follows:
Main spec, Main character
Main spec, Alt character
Off spec, Main character
Off spec, Alt character

If you are switching spec's at the request of the guild, you can treat gear drops for your "to-be" spec as main spec.

10 man raids and raids with a large number of pugs will all be roll based loot distribution.

Any questions at all about loot should be directed at an officer, we'll be happy to discuss them with you.

Moderators! You now have the ability to accept/decline guild applications.
